Power valve threads ruined

Tech tip.

Lotsa older and many offbrand power valves tend to get trashed and leave some metal behind.

Removing this PV required the vise and some effort.

I heard someone saying once they had to throw away a block due to this.

No need. Run tap from backside with a bunch of thin lube, you can normally push the junk metal out of the threads.
